Governing Body
The local governing body at Hucklow is made up of volunteers representing parents, the local community, the local authority, business and teaching and non-teaching staff.
The key role of the governing body is to help the school plan for the future and to set and monitor targets for school improvement to ensure that all children in the school get the best possible education. As part of this role they are responsible for setting and monitoring the school budget to ensure the school is financially viable.
The full governing body meets once a term and there are sub-committees for Strategy, Resources & Health & Safety and Learning and Development, these committees also meet every term.
