A Warm Welcome to Year 4

A very settled start for our Year 4 children. They have shown some great moments so far and we look forward to seeing what they can achieve throughout the school year. 

In Reading we are studying There’s a Werewolf in my Tent by Pamela Butchart about a group of school children who go on their first ever residential. What could possibly go wrong? 

In our Curriculum topic we will be looking at:

• The Romans

As part of your child’s math’s learning this year they will complete a Multiplication Check, whereby they answer 25 multiplication questions to test their multiplication knowledge. Children will be given plenty of opportunity to practice throughout the year and they can also practice using the website TT Rockstars using the Soundcheck option.

Year 3 to Year 6 will also continue to learn Spanish with Miss Kachra.

Year 4 are also lucky to have swimming sessions. These are currently running every Tuesday with Y4LG.
